Heshtone Guitars are hand built in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Each Heshtone is one-of-a-kind, completely hand built, and is the result of over 100 hundreds hours of loving effort. Often a specific theme will guide us with the design and construction of a particular guitar.
It is our sincere wish in our building of fine, hand-crafted guitars to honor the time tested traditions of luthierie while never turning a blind eye to the benefits of technological improvements. With this said Heshtone guitars are a marriage of old world craftsmanship and technological innovation.
At this point in time Heshtone Guitars is a labor of love, a hobby, a passion, and soul food for my mind and body. Each Heshtone guitar takes approximately 3-4 months to create. Depending on the level of ornamentation it may take longer.
We endeavor to gather and use only the finest materials available world wide. You will not find any plastic used on a Heshtone guitar beyond perhaps the pick guard. Only real wood and often rare and exotic wood is used.
Each guitar may be built for a particular style of play with examples being finger style and flat picking.
